A couple months ago I flipped out and cancelled all the streaming apps. I don't even watch much TV, and they just keep raising the prices, so I shut it all off. I've been getting reacquainted with an ancient medium once known as "DVDs". And let me tell you something... Fried Green Tomatoes really holds up. I love those ladies. So this pizza is our take on a Fried Green Tomatoes pizza, named after The Whistle Stop Cafe where much of the story takes place.

This green tomato sauce is really my Grandma's, which was handed down a few generations. Right before the first big freeze each Fall, our families would always gather up some of the green tomatoes that would never get the chance to ripen. We'd make a quick sauce that we'd eat over buttered toast. Our German version of the South's fried green tomatoes. Hope you love it.

For those of you who are intimately familiar with the book/movie, this is just our smoked pulled pork on the pizza here. We did not BBQ any evil men to make this. Not this time...
