This pizza has become a whole thing. I first made it for The Sweet & Salty Pig's 3rd Anniversary several years ago, and y'all have never stopped asking for its return. Our good friends at The Pig make us GALLONS of their bacon jam. When we ask nicely. We put their perfect pork spread on our wood fired crust, top it with cheese, and call it a day. Smokey, tangy, sweet, a little spicy. It's all the things.
I asked Allison at the Pig for an ingredients list. Here is what she said: "Lots of bacon ends and pieces, onions, coffee, apple cider vinegar, Jim Beam Bourbon, maple syrup, brown sugar, black pepper, chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, cumin, garlic, and lots of time and love."
