2.25 lb Lasagna
4 Layers - Microwaveable Fiber Container
Feeds 2 - 4 people
**not available for delivery
This is identical to our regular 9x9 pans of lasagna that will be back in the Fall. We've been working on a smaller, microwaveable version for a few years now - and it's finally ready for you. We keep it super simple. Just our Italian pork sausage but half pork, half beef, cooked into a rich tomato sauce. Layered with fresh pasta from RP Pasta Company in Madison, then parmesan, romano, mozzarella, and provolone cheeses. Then I layer it on again and again and again - 4 layers in total.
Thaw completely in the fridge overnight before cooking. These natural fiber containers cannot go in the oven so don't try it. We hope this scratches your itch until our bigger bake-able Lasagna is back.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove the lid, place fiber container on a plate, and place another plate upside down on top of the lasagna. This will help trap steam so that it cooks evenly. Times will vary depending on microwave settings, but microwave for about 5 minutes. Add an additional 2 minutes as many times as needed, until lasagna has an internal temperature of 165º. (All of the test batches here took 8-10 minutes total, including the little breaks to check doneness.)When done, keep the top plate on the lasagna and let rest for 10 minutes inside microwave with the door closed before enjoying.
