I don't find chili crisp to be that spicy, so while this pie has some great big flavor, it only registers as having a bit of warmth, not much heat. I made a velvety brown butter miso sauce for this pizza, and truly that's the star here. Big umami flavor with the bright sweetcorn, and topped with cheese, a lil green onion, and a smattering of chili crisp with its oil. I would LOVE this as a taco, or even this combination in a bowl as a side dish this time of year. But of course, it's out of this world as a pizza. Hope you love this one!

Miso is a full-flavored, earthy, salty fermented bean paste that should really be used here more often.
