SHREDDED MEXICAN- BRAISED PORK
SCRATCH MADE TACO SAUCE
A LITTLE CILANTRO
WOOD FIRED CRUST
I braised fresh, local pork butts in some warm spices, citrus, garlic, a couple jalapeños, and onion. The smell while this slowly braised was out of this world. It was one of those days where my dad and brother kept sticking their head through the kitchen door asking if it was ready yet. Having a kitchen pouring out great smells right here on the farm can be tough on the farmers some days.
I kept this simple with a little of my homemade taco sauce, a sprinkling of red onion, and a bit of fresh cilantro from my friends at Ernessi Farms.
