This pasta shape, Trottole, is a modern Italian pasta shape named after a spinning top. It's also known as 'Vesuvio' because the pasta resembles Italy's famous volcano. And oh does it hold sauce beautifully. Creamy & pretty dang comforting with garlic roasted mushrooms and a little spinach for your health. I'm supposed to say this feeds two people with a nice side salad, and that no one should eat almost 2 lbs of pasta in a sitting, but I didn't have a problem eating the entire thing. Ready to enjoy after just a few minutes in the microwave.
**This plant fiber container is oven safe, microwavable, and compostable - so there's no plastic. The freezer life on these is a few weeks if you're storing it in a heavily trafficked freezer. If it's in a deep freeze that you open less frequently, the natural bowls will keep well for a couple two three months.
