I wanted something purple for the Alzheimer's fundraiser pizza. And wouldn't you know it, Tracy from Olden Organics just happened to have a bunch of her purple sweet potatoes on hand. We diced em, and roasted em, and threw them on a wood fired crust with dollops of fresh ricotta, and healthy drizzle of basil pesto, and a smattering of a sweet roasted red pepper sauce. Finished with cheese, it's subtly sweet and light but it feels substantial and so satisfying. I hope you love it.

And thank you for supporting the Alzheimer's Associations efforts in finding a cure or some effective therapies for this aggressive and all-to-common disease.
