I got some green garlic from Park Ridge Organics to play around with. Since these sold out online last week I made another batch. Green garlic is bright and subtle and full of mild garlic flavor. It's the baby garlic plant before the head turns to bulbs of the more pungent stuff.
This is the absolute perfect springtime appetizer. It needs to be cut into several smaller slices and enjoyed by a fire or on a deck with beverages and laughter. Or, ya know, cut into quarters and eaten on your couch while searching for something to watch on Netflix. I don't judge.
