The all-time favorite is back. All of the apples on this were picked just a couple hours before they were on the pizza! I used a blend of cortland, paula red, and northwest greening apples this week.
This is my grandma's apple pie filling; laced with a little cinnamon and fresh grated nutmeg. To make this a bit fancier and way more flavorful, I drizzle my salted caramel sauce on top, and then crumble over a Dutch apple pie streusel topping. It's pure and simple and freaking delicious.
